An important part of the mission of St. Mary of Providence is to provide services that help persons with developmental disabilities reach their highest potential. Our Developmental Training Services program provides residents and day students with educational and vocational opportunities. The program is located at Clare Center, a barrier free and wheelchair accessible work activity center.
The Developmental Training Program was granted a license in 1987 and has grown to encompass residents of Rose Angela Hall and Providence Center, as well as those day students who live in the community.
The Clare Center is licensed to serve 120 people and has been accredited by the Commission for Accreditation of Rehabilitation Services (CARF) at the highest level achievable since 1971.
